Help the Rhoads Family Maintain Stability
Donation protected
Dear friends and community,
We are coming together to support the Rhoads family during this incredibly difficult time following the passing of Josh. For the last 5.5 years, while bravely battling cancer, Josh worked tirelessly to make financial decisions that would ensure his family was well taken care of. He was just one year away from paying off their home, with only $112,000 remaining on the mortgage.
Josh was not only a devoted husband and father, but also the family’s main provider. His loss leaves a significant void, and we want to help ease the financial burden that has now fallen on Wylie.
Our goal is to raise funds to pay off their mortgage, allowing the Rhoads family to maintain a sense of stability and comfort during this challenging time. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. If you can’t donate, we firmly believe that prayer works and that God provides. Sharing this campaign and praying for the Rhoads family would also be a tremendous help.
Some words from Wylie;
"It is with grief, sadness, peace, and hope to share with you that Josh went home to be with Jesus in the early hours October 24th. He was surrounded by his family while he stepped into glory to meet His Savior face to face. It was peaceful and sacred. Seeing God’s mercy and tenderness as He welcomed Josh home was a gift to behold. Something that is imprinted in my mind forever. We can only imagine the pure joy that he is experiencing with Jesus right now. Made healthy and whole. No more suffering or battling. Just peace, joy, and rest. Praising Him.
Josh fought valiantly for 5.5 years and never once let his cancer define him or hold him back. He loved people fiercely, protected those he cared about, challenged us to be our best selves, made all of us better, and gifted each of us the very best parts of him for us to carry. He loved Jesus and followed Him faithfully. He was a man of God. He was my person. My partner. My better half. He was a great man and an amazing husband. He was an intentional dad, a champion for his friends, a good big brother and son, and strong and courageous in everything he did. We will continue to keep the memory of who you are in our lives. We will always celebrate the beautiful life you lived and gave to us.
This is not goodbye. We will see you later, Josh ❤️ I love you so much! With every fiber of my being. We will miss you more than words can say AND we know you are right where you need to be. At your Heavenly Father’s feet ❤️ We will cling to Jesus and rest in the hope of what is to come. We love you. Thank you for giving us everything."
