Help the Riens Family Back on the Road

Hi everyone, we’re the Riens Family. I’m Nicole, my husband Kevin I have 2 boys David (12) and Patrick. The past few months have been filled with obstacles left and right. The unexpected mishaps include, Health issues, cars bashed & burgled (on repeat), and major appliances giving up on us.

Another shoe dropped Saturday night. A Grinch slashed all of the tires on our family car. (We've been trying to save money to have the transmission repaired) One tire (new this year) of our truck, Kevin commutes to work in, was also slashed (missing warranty is a long story).

We are working closely with Fort Worth Police to catch the blade-weilding tire Grinch. Reports have been filed, available video footage is also being investigated.

Kevin is currently working 2 jobs while I homeschool our sweet boys, who need that one on one style of education. I do my best to earn extra money through my Etsy shop, but have been dealing with some health complications. I am awaiting surgery in a few weeks.

We have reached a point of having no choice but to hope for some help from others.

The tire for the truck is $400 alone. We need another $800 to get tires on my Jeep Patriot, the boys like to call "Eeyore". It is our family vehicle used for necessary appointments and homeschool educational outings.

The transmission repair needed for Eeyore is estimated at $4,700 as well.

Any and all help would be a huge blessing in getting us back on track this Christmas.
