Help The Ries Family Battle Ken’s Brain Cancer
My father Kenneth Ries survived childhood leukemia and four benign brain tumors by age 50. But, sadly he was diagnosed with brain cancer February of 2020. This terrible diagnosis didn’t stop my dad. He continued to remain positive and be the best version of himself for his wife, two daughters, family and friends. He also continued to work as long as he possibly could but, in January 2021 his seizures began to get out of control causing him to not be able to work. As of today, my dad is fully paralyzed on his left side and is now in a wheelchair. My mother has stepped up tremendously to become his full time caretaker and was forced to leave her job until further notice. With my father also being unable to work, this has created a financial challenge for my parents with no source of income. They now have to pay the household and medical bills through their savings account. My family is extremely strong and so grateful for all of the amazing people we have around us. But, we do need help and any donation would be greatly appreciated. My family is the epitome of resilience and through all of these years of having to overcome surgery after surgery we remain to be positive and grateful for every day that we have with Ken. Again thank you all for your generosity and if you can please share this link, our family would greatly appreciate it.
