Help The Rizzo Family Get A New Van
Donation protected
As most of you know my dad broke his neck in an unexpected pool accident on June 13th, 1999 which left him paralyzed from the chest down with no use of his hands or fingers. The sole provider of our family would never walk again but also never be able to drive again. Coping with our new lives over the years, my parents had to invest in a handicapped accessible van. What some don’t realize is a handicapped accessible van are not cheap. Most range between $30,000-$40,000 or higher.
My dads ONE and ONLY means of transportation unfortunately died on us the other day, forcing my parents to look and invest in another van. Since my dad no longer works, my mom took on the role of the main provider of our family, working countless hours to make ends meet. And also being my dads main caregiver, my mom still remains one of the selfless people I will ever know. Putting my dad and our family before her own needs and wants, never asking for help and just being a hard worker for our family, she is a true angel.
With the news of our van leaves my parents in an unthoughtful situation because like some, they unfortunately don’t have the extra money to put towards a new van and also have money to keep their house running. I’m starting this gofundme because even when our family was at the lowest of the low, my mother never once asked for help. She never once applied for assistance because she always knew there were others out there who needed it more than us.
ANY AMOUNT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.
