Help the Roos Family Overcome Tragedy
Donation protected
On June 7, 2024, a vehicle pulled in front of the Roos family on Route 15 in Frederick, Maryland. James, who is 7, suffered a multiple fractured vertebrae, severe bruising and other injuries. Although he has to wear a collar for several weeks, he was very fortunate. His mother, Virginia, was unfortunately not.
Virginia is still in the hospital, and if she pulls through, will be for several months. She currently relies on a ventilator, has a sliced liver, a collapsed lung, all of her ribs are broken, a shattered shoulder hand and foot, broken facial bones, and 50-75 deep lacerations. The woman who pulled in front of them is still unstable as well.
The Roos family lives in Thurmont, Maryland and work in the Frederick County communities.
This freak accident has left a family shattered. Virginia is currently fighting for her life and Tim is taking off work to be with her.
The Roos family’s only vehicle was destroyed and they are in desperate need for financial assistance during this time. Without an emergency fund for gas, meals, the mortgage and bills the Roos family may not make it through this difficult time.
Virginia and James both have months, if not years, of recovery ahead of them.
Virginia and Tim are both people that would give the shirt off their back to help anyone out.
Please help us help them during this time.
