Help the Roots!

Packy and Kim Root are always on the front lines helping others, and now they need our help. 
Packy has been having some medical issues since January that have kept him from working. They have struggled through the last few months, but on March 30th Packy had to have emergency spinal surgery due to an infection in his spinal column.
What this means is that Packy has now been told that he can not work for the next year.  Packy is the "bread winner".
As we all know Packy has  worked hard for years as a  trucker to support his family, while Kim works primarily to provide the family health insurance. This has left them without funds to keep afloat until disability kicks in. Because Packy was self employed, there are additional hoops to jump through, so this may be a lengthy process. 
Packy and Kim don't ask for help, they are ALWAYS the helpers, so a group of us decided we need to do this for them.
Please read the updates as the situation has been a rollercoaster for sure.
