Help the Rosenbaum Family Rebuild

My name is Carol, and I am Amanda's mother. This fundraiser is to help Amanda, her husband Bob, and their four children, Oriana (20), Ellen (13), Bobby (12) and Kady (4), rebuild their home. While away on a vacation they had looked forward to for over a year, Amanda and Bob received the devastating call that there had been a fire in their home. At the time, they were across the country in South Dakota with three of their children. Oriana had been home with the animals, preparing food when it caught on fire. Thankfully, Oriana and the animals were able to evacuate the house and call for help. Unfortunately, by the time help arrived there was already a lot of destruction to the kitchen and smoke and soot throughout the house.

Their house is not livable at this time, and they have been able to stay with Bob's parent's until the cleaning and restoration of their home can be finished. The pantry, kitchen and dining rooms all need to be gutted and rebuilt. Ceilings and flooring have been ripped out in rooms such as the laundry, stairs, hallway and children's bedrooms. All of Kady's toys had to be thrown away, along with clothes, bedding, decor, kitchen items and furniture. The insurance is not able to cover their belongings and is covering structural damages and appliances only.

A fundraiser was not going to be started for them, but they found out they need to pay a deductible to the insurance of $4,500. Amanda is a registered nurse who cares for people in an emergency room and intermediate surgical/trauma unit, Bob currently stays at home to help provide care for their children. They lost several thousand dollars cutting their vacation short, have been trying to put pieces back together slowly and now have the financial burden of the insurance deductible. It was this that led to the decision to start a fundraiser to help them overcome this tragedy.

It is not easy to ask for help, I know this has been an extremely difficult time for them. I humbly ask that you share this link with friends and family and if possible give to this family in their time of need (any amount helps and is appreciated).
