Help the Rosier Family
Donation protected
Joe Rosier is a decorated Army Veteran, husband, father of two, and has spent the last 30 years working for the Minnesota Department of Corrections. Joe was looking forward to retirement in two years and had many dreams and plans for his family until his life and future changed drastically in the beginning of January. Joe was diagnosed with inoperable, incurable and invasive Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer, and tested positive for the BRCA genetic markers for this particular kind. Joe hasn't and won't be able to return to work since he was diagnosed. He is currently being treated with extensive chemotherapy treatments to extend what life he has left. Lois, Joe’s wife, and him have been together since 1995, and together they have a 10-year-old daughter (Avery) and a 6-year-old son (Croix), and two cats named Baby and Sissy. We are all completely heartbroken and words cannot even describe the utter sadness in our souls. Joe, like always, is being so strong, and just wants to be happy with whatever time he has left. He says he’s had a good life, and says he is ready to fight with the help of chemotherapy for any extra time he gets with his family and friends.
Joe is best known for his sense of adventure, his zest for life, his loyalty to his family and friends, his generosity, his notorious storytelling, his spontaneity, friendliness, and his authentic ability to make every stranger he’s ever met his friend. Joe is an avid volleyball player, loves traveling, the beach, loves to golf and has spent more time than most on a motorcycle, snowmobile, or anything else with wheels; and there have been more times than not when Lois would come home and find a new “toy” in the garage because Joe found a really ‘good deal’. Joe is a true adventurer at heart, enjoys socializing and traveling with family and friends, and how he’s ever managed to do it all while being the only man in the 21st Century without a debit card AND social media still remains a mystery to all who know and love Joe.
All donations will be used towards continued medical treatments and care for Joe and his family.
