In March of 2021 Katie contracted covid 19. During her time with covid she has been battling a long list of debilitating symptoms. Many of which are still an issue today. She has been diagnosed with post covid syndrome, POTS, and many more diagnosis since having covid. This is an autonomic disorder where there is a disconnect between the autonomic nerve system in the body which causes symptoms like dizziness, passing out, complete body aches and pains, brain fog, and many more. She has been seen by multiple doctors, cardioligists, other specialists including the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN, University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA and St. Anthony hospital in Carroll IA this past year. She has been off of work for going on 9 months now. Between medications and physical therapy they are hoping to return her to a normal life where she can return to work. Lucklily she has had leave to cover expenses but has since ran out. In the meantime we are asking for donations to help with the incoming medical expenses. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
