Help the Sanchez Family Recover from Tornado

Dear Friends and Family,

We write to you today on behalf of my sister’s family, the Sanchez family. We are hoping to raise funds to relieve any stress we can while they piece together arrangements on a future home.

On May 25th, a tornado hit the city of Valley View, tearing the roof off of our sister's home. They had just completed home renovations that they had been working on for two years. My sister and her family are devastated that many of their things will never be recovered. While they mourn the loss of their family dog Daisy, they are so thankful to God that they still have each other. They have 3 boys, Juan Jr. (14), Cristian (12), Angel (almost 3) who need our support so that they can return to their normalcy. This is something that children should never have to experience. They will use these funds to put toward a home as theirs is unrepairable and personal essential items.

If you know Saira and Juan, you know they are always helping out when they can. We cannot count the times Juan has offered his time to help us fix issues that arise in our own houses. Please find it in your hearts to help whatever you can. If you can also send a prayer, that would be appreciated.

8/6/24- Update

My sisters family is still in a hotel looking to find the next step. They were not approved for any help from FEMA because their house was insured. The probelm here is that her house was underinsured and with what they were given they are unable to afford anything especially in this market. Any help would be very appreciated so they can get back to a home.
