Ashley began feeling sick at the beginning
of November. After influenza and covid
tests came back negative, she figured it was a cold that would go away on its own.
However, Ashley ended up in the ER soon
after with intense pain; she was admitted
to the hospital and diagnosed  with
pulmonary sequestration with infection.
She is currently treating this at home with
IV antibiotics, via PICC line. Ashley is a para at Atkinson elementary and is not able to
work at this time while she heals and waits for the next steps.   

Ashley has a consult scheduled on 11/17
with Mayo Clinic to see what the next steps are. She has a long road of surgery and
recovery ahead. Any positive thoughts,
