Support the Shady Lady Bar

*** PREFACE... This has been set up completely independent of the Shady Lady bar and has NO input from George and Mandy Jo. I know they are too beautiful and lovely to even consider asking for help.***

The gorgeous romantic sexy SHADY LADY bar is one of the only bars in our Northside community that has been given very little help by the government and wasn't able to meet the criteria for the latest live music grants.

This breaks my heart. This bar has given so much to our community and is a shining light on Johnston Street that needs to survive and thrive past this pandemic.
I have therefore taken the liberty of setting this up to make sure those Pina Coladas are poured straight into our hearts this summer.

If you want to boogie your buns into oblivion while Go Go Dancers grace the bar tops..

If you want to dirty your mind and win cheap sex toys with Porno Bingo...

If you miss quietly sketching your favourite local model in the cutest drink and draw nights while you sip on a tom collins..

If you want to be soothed by the sultry sounds of host Richie 1250 on Karaoke nights while you lose all abandon and belt out Eternal Love.

If you want to feel unbelievably safe, warm and fuzzy in the hands of your favourite kooky shady ladies as you share all your silly tales in that romantic beer garden.. 

I could go on and on...

THE SHADY LADY BAR is all women owned and operated (probs the reason why it is utter perfection) and it needs to shine on forever. Bars that make an extra special effort to make EVERYONE (but especially women/LGBTIQ) feel safe ARE SO GODDAMN IMPORTANT!

They're definitely gonna kill me for doing this but oh well.

I set the bar low but honestly LET'S BLOW THIS OUT OF THE WATER PEEPS.

Any help is appreciated to bring this shady baby back and booming...

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for this outrageous showing of generosity and love for the Shady Lady. As you know the bar is well and truly open and despite restrictions not allowing us to have as many people as we would like, it is so god damn lovely to see everyones faces again. We adore everyone that continues to come through the door and support us. I've been friends with Georgie for 5 years now and now have the incredible honour of being an official Shady Lady and it honestly feels life changing. 

One of our lovely locals Hannah has painted a wonderful little print of the Shady lady and we will be making prints for everyone who donated to keep as a little treat.

I will set up the withdrawals in my name and transfer them all straight into Georgie's account. :) :)
