Help the Sharona Keeton family after accident
Donation protected
On June 26, my daughter, Sharona (Shae) Keeton, was in an accident with her horse while going for a ride with a friend. Sharona sustained a life-threatening injury and was taken to the hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery. She has nine broken ribs, a ruptured spleen (which was removed) and an injured pancreas. Sharona was able to come home briefly but started having severe pains and had to be rushed back to the hospital, where it was determined she had sepsis due to an infection and several blood clots. She underwent another surgery to remove the blood clots and an abscess from the pancreas drainage. She will need months of recovery.
Sharona is the mother of 2 beautiful children she supports on her own.
Even though the injuries are significant, Sharona is lucky to have only been injured. The outcome could have been much worse. Unfortunately, she does not have disability insurance and will be unable to work for several months, making it impossible to pay her medical bills and take care of her children. We hope to take some financial burden away so she can focus on getting better without the additional financial stress.
A donation to help her through this challenging journey would be greatly appreciated and will go a long way.
Please keep Sharona in your thoughts.
Thank you!
