Help the Shea Family Fight Prostate Cancer
Cancer is tough. We're tougher.
Our dad, Brian Shea, was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer in late 2016. Since then, he has undergone treatment with hormonal therapy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Unfortunately, after what looked like a couple years of remission, his disease has been progressing. His most recent CT and PET scans show just how widespread and aggressive this battle has become, and his energy and mobility are now suffering.
Dad is currently on an indefinite leave of absence from work, and mom is his full-time caregiver.
We're from a private and proud family, and it's difficult to ask for help. But now, that's our best option. We're asking for our community's support and prayers as we navigate this "new normal".
Your generosity will be used to cover the increasing medical bills that insurance doesn't fully cover, to include overnight hospital stays, continued treatments and therapies, rehabilitation visits, and ambulance rides. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support for our dad and our family during our journey towards healing.
