Help The Shipston on Stour Proms Music Festival
Donation protected
Can you help us keep Shipston Proms going for many more years?
Last year’s Shipston Proms fortnight cost just shy of £30,000, so it is no mean feat what we put on! We are so massively grateful to everyone that sponsors us, buys raffle tickets, becomes a Friend of the Proms or donates in our buckets during the fortnight, but last year was a big year financially for us and it seemed a good idea to raise money before the Proms even starts.
If you don’t know about us, Shipston Proms is a two week music festival taking place in Shipston on Stour and the surrounding villages. By getting as many local pubs and venues involved we are able to provide a platform for the amazing array of local talent in the area. From dance to classical, blues and jazz and from rock to opera, we try to get as many musical genres as we can into the fortnight! Our motto is ‘Music for All’ and by visiting local care homes, baby groups, as well as being involved in the schools and putting on big events in the local town hall, we really do feel we uphold that!
Shipston Proms is run by a small not for profit voluntary committee of local individuals passionate about the community and music. Starting with our Launch night and running through to the legendary Last Night of The Proms, we hold many events such as "Shipston Introducing" for upcoming local artists, a Pubs & Cafe’s music trail as well as popular annual events like an Open Mic night, Folk night and so much more!
We know times are hard, but if you can even donate £1 then I promise it will help! We cannot wait to put on an amazing fortnight of music for you all!
Thank you so much for your continued support!
