Hello family, friends, and community,
My name is Nancy Silverio.
It is with a broken heart that my mother, sister and I have to share this tragic news. My father Aaron Silverio was admitted to the hospital on October 18 due to cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, my father had already been down for 15 minutes and by the time the paramedics got there they did not take action right away. They were able to revive his heart, but doctors had to sedate him due to the breathing tube he had down his throat. After a week they removed the sedation to see if he would wake up on his own, unfortunately till this day he has not woken up and entered a coma. They then performed a surgery on his trachea to remove the tube so it wouldn't cause infections nor incarnate to his throat. A couple days later, doctors said that due to the lack of oxygen while he was down, his brain suffered severe damage and there is nothing left they could do for him. Also due to their lack of negligence, they found maggots around his trachea that caused him an infection. Sadly, there is nothing left to do but to disconnect my father and let him go in peace. He fought a long battle along with his kidney failure and dialysis, but it is time for him to rest. Only a miracle from God can happen.
He was not just an amazing human, but an amazing husband, father, grandfather, friend, uncle, anything you can imagine. We will miss him every day and we will always love you daddy.
Thank you all for your support and prayers, on behalf of the Silverio family.
Hola familia, amigos y Communidad,
