Help The Snake Hunter

Hi my name is Aishah and I have created this fundraiser for my dad.

In a small community, a well-known single father of 4 daughters, known for his expertise and passion for reptiles, faced a dire turn of events. My dad, also known as the "Snake Hunter" for his specialty in removing and rehoming venomous snakes from residential areas, life took a dramatic turn when he was bitten by a venomous tiger snake after his equipment broke during a capture. This tragic incident landed him in the ICU, fighting for his life.

As my dad is fighting for life, the weight of responsibility has fallen heavily onto my shoulders and am juggling my roles of managing my dads business, being the caregiver of my younger sisters and grandmother, as well as the carer for over 100 reptiles which my dad has dedicated his life to caring for and understanding.

This incident also occurred the day after he had begun constructing his reptile facility, which has had to come to a halt. We had begun constructing this facility as our previous office we were renting was flooded in January due to storms in Diamond creek, which took a heavy toll on us and our business, and resulted in the loss of a few of our reptiles, me being electrocuted, and the building being deemed “no longer safe or suitable” after inspections from builders and electricians.

This fundraiser was launched to aid him in his recovery, help to provide for my younger sisters, help to maintain and feed his many reptiles, and hire professionals to complete the construction of his small facility, as his animals are currently being cared for by me in a short term storage but cannot last there much longer as it would not be suitable for them.

My dad is my hero as a single dad and the sole provider for our family and elderly grandma. If you knew my dad, he would never ask for any help, I am asking for your aid during this time.
