Help the Sowa Family with Medical & Funeral Costs

My name is Beth Kalinowski, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of my loving friends, Scott and Kim Sowa. In the beginning of December 2023, Scott went to the emergency room with tremendous stomach pains. Over the course of the next week, he was diagnosed with a very serious form of cancer and began undergoing treatment. After numerous hospital stays and medical interventions, Scott succumbed to his battle with cancer on January 23, 2024, after fighting with every fiber of his being. He left this world while surrounded by his closest family members, with his wife, Kim, parents, Joyce and Mark, and sister, Allison, by his side. He was only 41 years old.

I am asking for your help to ease the heavy financial burden that Kim is now facing in Scott’s absence. Kim was Scott’s primary caregiver and was therefore unable to work while he was ill. She is in fear of losing her home due to mounting medical bills. Your donation will go towards medical bills, funeral costs, health insurance payments, pet care, mental health care, etc.

For anyone who did not know Scott, I can tell you he was one of the most kind-hearted, generous people you could ever meet. He would have dropped everything in a heartbeat to help someone in need. I have been fortunate to call Kim my best friend for 30 years now, and I have seen firsthand her compassion, love, and empathy for other people. Since meeting and marrying Scott, those qualities only grew, as he was equal in his giving nature. No one deserves your help more. It is heartbreaking to see how much physical and emotional pain she is in right now. Financial assistance may go a long way towards easing some of the burden she is facing.
