Help the Spurrs kick cancer's ass
Donation protected
Many of you may have heard that yesterday, May 8th, the Spurrs received the most devastating news one can imagine: Ryan has stage four metastatic melanoma. This is just the beginning of the royal ass-kicking his melanoma is going to get, and they could use our help.
As the next door neighbors, we are probably the primary recipients of the Spurrs' generosity, but if you're reading this, you have most likely also been on the receiving end of it as well. I could give you a dozen examples of kind, generous things they have done for us just in the past two weeks, including Maeghan hosting birthday parties for our friends and pampering us, Ryan giving us advice and offering his tools for home repair projects, Raeghan bringing over a beautiful handmade birthday card for my daughter, Liv delivering a handmade bracelet, Parker helping my husband mulch the flower bed...this is just the past week. The fact that the kids are so thoughtful and kind is a huge testament to their parenting and generosity which is clearly built into the fabric of this family. Now it's time for us to return the favor and help them pull through the biggest challenge of their lives. A lot of people have asked me how they can help, and relieving some of the financial burden that's going to come with this battle is a great starting point. Please give what you can, no amount is too small. Prayers, positive vibes, and love to this sweet family.
