Help the Srikureja family

Dave is a hard working dentist, son, husband, and father who wants nothing more than to be able to care and provide for his family. On September 3, Dave had a freak accident breaking his neck and injuring his spinal cord. He is now a paraplegic unable to feel or move anything from the chest down. He was discharged home from Rehab on October 12. At this time it is unknown when or if he will regain any sensation or movement back. Dave is currently attending outpatient physical therapy and hand therapy 3-4x a week trying to strengthen his arms and hands. It is unknown what treatment will be available to him in the future or how long he will need therapy. We want to be able to give him the best treatment possible. The out of pocket medical expenses continue to add up and it will be a very long journey. Dave longs for the ability to hold and play with his children again.

With the cost of home health nursing all out of pocket, Alexis, along with Daves mother have been his care givers full time. Alexis has been managing Daves care, on top of caring for their son, Deacon (1) and daughter, Sadie (3.5). Deacon has had his own medical issues these last few months with another surgery needed in the near future. On top of all this, their dog Zoey needed surgery for a ruptured ACL. They can’t catch a break. With Dave unable to work and Alexis taking time off of work to care for her family, the added medical expenses have become overwhelming.
