Help the starving families of Tigray
Donation protected
Dear compassionate friends,
I am Ziggy Abay, reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to make a difference in the lives of the starving families of Tigray who have endured the devastating aftermath of a genocidal war waged by Ethiopia.
Over the past three years, this conflict has left millions in dire circumstances, resorting to digging for food in the dirt, as depicted in the accompanying photo. While the Tigryan-American Community has been tirelessly fundraising, the scale of the crisis demands additional support, prompting me to turn to you.
The people of Tigray have faced a three-year siege marked by isolation, lack of communication, absence of healthcare, and a profound scarcity of humanitarian aid. Schools have shuttered, farmlands and cattle have been intentionally destroyed to induce starvation, and the vulnerable, including women and children, have been subjected to unspeakable atrocities such as rape.
Witnessing the agony of family members pleading for sustenance is an experience that tugs at our shared humanity. However, our ability to alleviate their suffering is limited. I implore you to join hands with us in providing essential humanitarian aid to the people of Tigray, who currently have nothing. Please share this fundraiser with family, friends, and more.

Thank you for your compassionate support.
