HELP THE STOCKTON FAMILY LAY THEIR DAD TO REST

Donation protected
About 15 years ago, I met one of the kindest, most giving, amazing friends while attending college in Oceanside, CA. Crystal and I have spent the last 15 years with a strong, family-based friendship. One of the first memories I have of visiting her parent's house when we first met was her dad standing in the kitchen, drinking dr. Pepper, Warm!! Without missing a beat, he put it down and greeted me with a welcoming hug; her family was family to me from that very day on.
On February 18, 2022, her dad, Myron Stockton, passed away after an intense fight against cancer. He put up a big fight, fighting for his family first and foremost. He was the breadwinner and worked hard until about a month before his death. Myron left behind the love of his life, wife of 39 years, Kathy; His three children, Virginia, Crystal and Rajah; and his five grandchildren, who he loved dearly.
Life can be expensive, rent, bills, cars, kids are all things we plan, save and expect for. Death, on the other hand, just isn’t something we generally like to think about, let alone plan for. While working hard every day to keep food on the table and lights on in the house for a full family of 5, the unexpected funeral costs for the head of the Stockton household came as a surprise, a struggle and now putting the family in massive debt. Myron’s end-of-life wish was to be buried in a plot in Mesa AZ, along side other family members. The cost of Hospital, to CA mortuary, then a flight to AZ, a stay at the AZ mortuary, and finally a trip to his final resting spot, in the Mesa Cemetery will cost the family approximately $10,000.00.
Aside from the actual funeral for Myron, the family is being faced with travel and lodging expenses. If you’re a wife, child or grandchild of a man who has worked hard, loved with no limit and sacrificed anything to uphold his family, then you should be at his side for his final physical decent. The family will be driving to AZ, will stay at a local Hotel, see family and friends to celebrate the life of their deceased loved one, bury Myron and then head back home to San Diego, CA. These expenses could range from $3,000-$5,000.
Any amount will help so much. This family is full of gratitude for any amount, share, or good thoughts sent their way. I really appreciate any help you can provide.
