Support the Strebes After Fire
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
Our beloved colleague, brilliant writer, creative, mother, and friend, Sacha Strebe and her family have tragically lost their home to the devastating Eaton fire this morning. Luckily Sacha, her husband Troy, her son Neon, and their French bulldog Cosmo are safe, but their home, belongings, and cherished memories were lost in the fire. Clothing, furniture, kitchenware, one-of-a-kind vintage, and sentimental items are gone.
The Strebes purchased and moved into their new home in June 2023, after eight years of renting in Los Angeles. They’ve poured their heart and soul into building this new family home over the last two years. Moving to this mountain home brought their family an ease and a deep sense of peace. It was their sanctuary and safe space.
Those who know Sacha know her light, empathy, sense of community, and love for Los Angeles know no bounds. She has given back to her city what it has given her–kinship, creative inspiration, and a sense of place. Her love for her craft and her community are paralleled only by the love for her beautiful family.
We humbly ask you to join us in our support of the Strebe family as they navigate this difficult time in their beloved city. These funds will support the Strebe family as they get back on their feet and recover from this unimaginable loss. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
This fundraiser was organized by Sacha’s family, friends and colleagues in NYC and Los Angeles.
