Help the Stumpf family through Teddy's surgery

For about the last year and a half my lower right back has been hurting, went to the doctors got a shot a few times and it was okay. This last time it started to act up I couldn't even get out of bed so, I had to go to the E.R. and got x rays. When the x rays came back they told me I was missing over half of my L1 vertebre and that it was pinched on my nerve.
Since then, I have been laid up in bed, without being able to make any income. We had a little bit of savings put away to move out and now that is dwindling. I thought that this could be fixed with physical therapy which I tried but, when going to the neurosurgeon I found out that no amount of PT would help and I will need surgery. I was told that it will basically be a spinal fusion and rods being put in my back to help me stay upright. The recovery time is anywhere from 3-6 months on average for something like this and until the time I have my back healed, income will be trickled through at best. That is why my family and I are asking for help in these trying times. I hate to ask but this is something that I can't do on my own, I can't even hold my 1.5 yr old because of how bad the constant pain is. We are currently signing up for help through the state, but we aren't sure when we will be approved, or what they will approve us for (food stamps, cash assistance, etc.) We will be selling what we can to raise money on our own. After the surgery is done, and I heal a little bit, we will be moving states to be with my family so that we have a bit more help with the kids and my wife can return to work, and eventually I hope I can too. But until then, bills need paid, our daughter goes to a preschool that she loves that we do not want to pull her out of, and we need basic food and necessity items. We will also use some of the money in our moving process and any medical fees that may not be covered by insurance. I just want to be able to hold my kids again, and get our family back on our feet. Thank you.
