Help Survivors of Landslide in Alausi Ecuador
Donation protected
I've used my platform many times to help my brothers & sisters around the world who have suffered natural catastrophes. Today, I use my platform to bring you news that has not gotten enough coverage, thus, has not received enough help.
On March 26 at approximately 9 pm, my parents' hometown Alausi (Ecuador) suffered a natural disaster. An entire community has been entirely wiped out by a massive landslide. Buried under the rubble are people who were unable to find safety and many are still missing.
There are over 500+ people who have lost everything, a major portion of their main highway has been affected and have limited food, water and supplies within their reach.
Two of my uncles are some of the people who stayed behind to help those with no place to go providing shelter at their hostel in Alausi. And among some of the brave people who are volunteering.
As the daughter of proud Alausanians who immigrated to this country to provide a better life for my brothers and who later had me, I have and always will love Alausi. I created this GoFundMe to help Alausi, Ecuador and its people. ALL donations will be directed towards emergency resources and basic necessities (i.e.: water, food, toiletries, blankets etc)
Meet Jacob, a labrador who lost his family under the ruble and who has been helping find bodies in search of his family. No act of service is too small or too big. Please , share this GoFundme
