Help the Tada Family Rebuild After Bomb Cyclone
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Strangers,
On a stormy November night, the Tada family—Brett, Laurel, and their 7-month-old baby Milo—faced unimaginable devastation during the bomb cyclone that swept through Issaquah, WA. Their brand-new home, which they moved into just this September, was destroyed when five massive trees (ranging from 100 to 200 feet tall) toppled onto it, leaving them with only the clothes on their backs.
Laurel was holding baby Milo on the bottom floor living room when a tree came within feet of crushing them, and Brett was struck by debris from the ceiling collapsing around him. By sheer luck and grace, they all escaped with their lives, but they lost everything else—their home, their possessions, and all of Milo’s baby essentials.
The Tada family is now displaced, with only a few essentials they managed to retrieve. They are starting over from scratch, needing clothes, furniture, baby supplies, and more.
We are asking for your help to support them during this heartbreaking time. Your donation, no matter the amount, will make a tremendous difference in helping Brett, Laurel, and Milo rebuild their lives and provide a sense of stability for their family.
Your generosity will go towards:
• Covering their $10,000 insurance deductible
• Removing downed trees and debris, as insurance only covers $1,000, leaving the family responsible for the substantial remaining costs
• Replacing baby items like a crib, stroller, and clothes
• Helping to cover upfront costs for necessities
If you are unable to donate, sharing their story is just as powerful. Thank you for standing with the Tada family in their time of need.
With gratitude,
Jordan and Alex Wieder
