Help the Thatchers get back on their feet after Eaton Fire
Donation protected
On January 8th, the Thatcher family was awoken by alerts on their phones telling them to evacuate their home immediately.
Josh, Kristin, and their three children, Liam, Caleb, and Emma, grabbed what they could, grabbed their pets, and drove away from their home of 20 years, thinking they would be back again in a few hours.
Sadly, their home would be engulfed in flames a few hours later, as would most of their community in Altadena, California. There is nothing to come home to.
While extremely grateful for the health and safety of their family, and while everyone is physically okay, emotionally they are devastated.
2025 was meant to be a great year. Their twins are seniors in high school, and their son a freshman in college. Now everything they own is completely gone. Precious keepsakes as well as clothes and everyday needs.
The family is currently staying in a hotel while trying to figure out their next steps.
Insurance will eventually help them some, but there are many immediate needs. The kids will be going back to school next week and will need to replace clothes and other items that were destroyed.
We are setting up this GoFundMe on their behalf. We would love to help them get through the coming weeks without the added financial burdens and worries. If you are able, please donate and share with your friends and family.
The Thatchers would always do anything to help a friend in need.
Thanks for your prayers, love, and support at this very difficult time.
This campaign is being created by Scott and Brianna Barnes, friends of the Thatcher Family, we were given the okay to start this fund from Josh Thatcher on behalf of his family.
