Help the Toomeys with medical and personal bills

UPDATE:

Two weeks post heart attack. Patrick's recovery has been more than we could have hoped for. He is up and moving. He still has restrictions due to broken ribs. We want to thank everyone for all the calls, texts, meals flowers and donations!!! We are truly blessed!

On April 4th Patrick Toomey suffered a massive heart attack that required 45 minutes of CPR and 15 shocks to the heart. After what seemed like forever, with his wife by his side, they were able to stabilize his heart enough for transport. He was then life flighted to Community medical center where a stint was put into what they call the "widow maker". Surgery took longer than usual and the doctor was concerned he may not wake up or may end up with significant brain or organ damage because he was dead on and off for 45 minutes.

By the grace of God, Patrick was given a second chance on life. With no brain or organ damage. However, Patrick is still in heart failure and only time will tell. Him and his wife, Dawn will be on a long road to recovery. Dawn will be out of full-time work for a few weeks and Patrick, a few months. This will leave them short on making the necessary bills.

Patrick is a devoted father, step-father, husband and is expecting his first grand baby in May. Patrick has been a volunteer firefighter in the Bitterroot valley for 22 years. He is a self employed general contractor and his wife, a hairstylist. These hard times will put an extreme financial burden on them over the next few months.
