Help The Toval’s Rebuild their Home

With their lives uprooted as they face unprecedented times, CFISD teachers Clyde and Tara Toval, and their two small children, lost their home and all possessions in a fire. Thankfully, everyone is safe, and no one was injured. The fire escalated quickly and the house was a total loss. I cannot imagine how difficult this must be for them. Thank you for your many prayers and assistance in restoring the lives they’ve worked so hard to build for their family of four.

family back on their feet, and help them rebuild their home.

So much love and support was shown by everyone who came out that night. My family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts!

On March 30, 2021, our lives changed. We we’re having some pipe work done and a fire began inside my house resulting in a total loss.

I was home, but Tara and the kids had not made it yet. Thankfully, no one was hurt and things that were lost, were just material. I’m sure that there are still some things that are going to sting when we think about never being able to see, or use it again. It’s the pictures for us, and things like custom ornaments, and other mementos collected over the years. And I’m sure over the weeks and months, we will remember other things that will make us sad. But we have to be strong for our babies and know that we are blessed and surrounded by a loving core of people. Parents, friends/neighbors, Birkes family, APE family, Cook family, Emery family, JuJutsu family, all of the people who have called and sent texts, those who have set up or donated to secret wish lists, given gift cards, or cash, it really is a great feeling when people let you know that you’re not alone in this.

My name is Kourtnie Toval from Texas, and I
am the sister of Clyde Jr.  These funds were
raised because my brothers family lost
everything that they had in this tragic incident. They will have to buy everything from
furniture, and clothes, to appliances and silverware, etc.  I can’t even imagine losing
EVERYTHING that you owned! This
 fundraiser was started with that in mind, and I think that we have achieved our goal. I have
added my brother as the beneficiary and he
has already linked the funds to be transferred directly to he and his family. Thank you to
everyone who donated!! We pray that this is a start to help them get back on their feet
