My name is Morgan Soper. I am starting this Gofundme for my sister and her husband. My sister, Aubrie and her husband Skyler have three beautiful children Quentin (3), Micah (1) and Vada (6months). Aubrie is a nurse and has been for many years, she is very good at her job and is one of the most caring people I know. Skyler was working as a welder while going to school to obtain his electrician license. Within the past month Skyler became sick, he was experiencing extreme weight loss, cough, nausea, vomiting and stomach/ back pain. After numerous tests such as CT scans, MRI and a biopsy our worse fears were confirmed, Skyler has a very rare form of liver cancer called fibrolamellar hepatocelluar carcinoma. The treatment plan is not certain at the time but chemotherapy and possible surgery is expected. Skyler is currently admitted to the University of Iowa and is expected to be there for a while pending more testing. If you are able to donate towards medical bills, daycare expenses, living expenses, gas or any other expenses that may occur it would mean the world to our family. Aubrie is 27 and Skyler is 25 years old with three young children. No one should have to go through this. Please pray for discernment for Skyler’s medical team as well as peace and discernment for Aubrie and Skyler as they make some big decisions. Please pray for our families and most importantly their children. I rest in the fact that we serve a God of miracles and I just pray we find one. Thank you.
