Help the Travis Family During Their Crisis

Hi my name is Vicki Everett and I am raising funds to aid the Travis family with monthly bills during their current crisis with baby Memphis.

On 9/19/23, Rebecca’s water broke at 21.5 weeks pregnant and she was admitted to Baptist Health. She was transferred to UK Hospital on 9/22/23 at 22 weeks pregnant to remain on complete bed rest and be closely monitored until the baby was born. On 10/18/23, baby Memphis had to be delivered by an emergency C-section at 25.5 weeks gestation. He currently weighs a little over 1 lb and is in the NICU at UK Children’s Hospital. He will remain there until at least January 2024. After a 33-day hospital stay and extended NICU care for the baby, Rebecca’s paid time off will be depleted. Her husband Steven has severe glaucoma and has been off work since his eye procedure on 6/12/23. An Aqueous Shunt was placed at that time to relieve pressure, which left him unable to drive, unable to work and placed on short-term disability that ceases the end of October. They will be without income until full-time disability goes into effect, which can take many months.

The funds raised will greatly relieve financial obstacles they will face in the months ahead, along with the stress that’s associated with such hardship.
