Help the Truax Family Rebuild

Our sweet friends Paige and Tyler Truax lost absolutely everything in the devastation from Hurricane Ian in SWFL.

They thought they were going to receive minimal damage, until all of a sudden water started rushing into their home. The water was rushing so fast that in under 10 minutes they had over 4 feet of water flooding every single room in their home. They had very limited time to make a decision and it had to be fast since their two babies were home with them. Ages 1 and 5. Paige strapped their daughter to her back and put a life jacket on their son. Tyler fought to kick the door open to get them out, as it was being pushed shut by the force of the storm surge on the other side. Thankfully he was able to get it open and they swam to his truck, where they could make an escape. The emotional turmoil they are facing from all of this, I cannot even begin to imagine. No one should have to comfort their babies through a situation like this. As if that wasn’t enough, absolutely everything in their home is gone. Clothes, furniture, keepsakes, one of their vehicles. Everything they worked so hard for gone in 10 minutes. They would never ask for a dime, so I will. They need all of the prayers, and support through this time as they try and re-build what they have lost and mourn the things that you cannot replace. I know everyone is going through a time right now, but any donation will be so appreciated as they are trying to replace everything inside a place they made their home.
