Help Support Cornell Talford and the Twyman Family
Hi, my name is Nate McKittrick, and I’m raising funds to help my cousin's son, Cornell Talford, and the Twyman family after the devastating loss of my cousin, Stephanie (Steff) Twyman.
Stephanie was like a sister to me. We grew up together—our families lived side by side on Cotton Street and later moved together to North 14th Street. I went to St. Joseph Grade School and Central Catholic High School with all four Twyman kids, and Stephanie and I worked side by side at The Bowl Grille for years. The Twymans aren’t just family; they’re a part of who I am. Steff was like my sister and her mom, my Aunt Connie, has always been like a second mom to me.
Stephanie passed away on December 3, 2024, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was a light in our family—kind, funny, endlessly positive, and the hardest worker you could ever meet. But more than anything, she was an incredible mom to Cornell, her 14-year-old son. Tragically, Cornell has now lost both of his parents, and his future weighs heavy on all of us who love him.
In addition to the profound loss, the Twyman family is facing huge financial burdens. Between medical bills from Stephanie’s cancer treatments and other expenses, the weight is immense. As a family, we’re doing everything we can to support Cornell and ensure he has what he needs, but we need your help.
The funds raised through this GoFundMe will be used to:
Support Cornell’s future, including his education and everyday needs.
Help Aunt Connie and the Twyman family manage the medical bills and household expenses left behind.
Stephanie’s legacy is one of love, strength, and selflessness. She always took care of others, no matter what challenges she faced. Now it’s our turn to take care of her family.
Please consider donating to help support Cornell and ease the financial burden on the Twyman family during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for keeping our family in your prayers.
With gratitude,
Nate McKittrick
