Help the UConn Women's Ski Team to Nationals!

Hello Everyone! The UConn Ski Team has had another great season of racing in the highly competitive MacConnell Division. Our regular season once again spanned over the Northeast with races at Whiteface, Pats Peak, West Mountain, Proctor, and Berkshire East. Individually, we had two of our ladies earn the all MacConnell Division Team distinction. Huge congrats to Lydia Kelleher and Kenna McCaughey for their results this season!

This past weekend at Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine, we had more outstanding results at the USCSA Eastern Regionals with our ladies team placing 4th overall and 3rd in the Slalom!

As a result of our Regionals performance, we are happy to announce that the Women’s Team has qualified to compete at USCSA Nationals at Whiteface, NY, March 4th through 9th!

To compete at Nationals, each athlete is required to pay $550 individually on top of the expenses of food, lodging, and travel. UConn has provided some support to us for nationals, but it will not cover the costs of our event. We also have dealt with quite a few issues with acquiring this funding from the school, making our personal expenses this season much greater than ever before.

At last year's Nationals, the ladies placed 7th in the slalom out of 26 teams. We are very excited to be there once again and show everyone what we've got!
