Help The UNF Club Ice Hockey Team

Hello, we are the UNF Club Ice Hockey team. We are looking for your support to help fund the rest of our inaugural season. As a club sport, we receive no financial support from UNF. And as many of you might already know hockey is an expensive sport. Meaning that the players must pay and fundraiser their way through a costly season.

The money donated would help us pay for the remaining costs for us to finish out the current season and set us up for success for the next season. Specifically, the money would used to pay for our practice and game time costs. As renting the ice costs over $450 per hour. Paying the referees who come and officiate our games. And lastly paying our coaches who have devoted so much time and effort to make the team a success through its first season.

This team means so much to everyone involved with the team whether on or off the ice. For our players and coaches, it means the world to them that they are able to continue their competitive hockey careers while representing their school on their jerseys. For our off-the-ice members, it allows them to build up their resumes in the sports industry and gain entry-level experience in the world of sports that can be used to get internships and jobs later on. Lastly, for our hundreds of fans, it allows them to continue to cheer us on and learn more about the great game of hockey.
