Help the Varga Family Rebuild After the Palisades Fire

On January 7th, the Varga family lost their home in the Palisades fire. While all family members, including pets, were able to safely evacuate, they were forced to leave with little more than the clothes on their backs. Decades of belongings, keepsakes, and memories were lost.

The Vargas have been a staple of the Pacific Palisades community for over forty years. Before his retirement, Jim Varga was a well-respected pediatrician for local families and Olga served the community as a social worker. Their daughters Jenna and Maya grew up in the home lost to the fire. Jim, Olga and Maya were living in the house and at the time and the process of rebuilding their lives will be long, complex, and expensive. The Varga’s friends and family are looking to raise funds to help ease this challenge. Your donations will help in several tangible ways:

Immediate Needs & Recovery: Your help will allow the Vargas to address the many aspects of getting back on their feet, recovery and support their family needs through this crisis.
Rebuilding Support: Rebuilding will be long, fraught, and expensive. These funds will assist with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid.

Anyone who has met the Varga family is aware of their generosity and community spirit. We are asking the large network of people who love and support them to respond in kind.
