Help the victims of the Apple River stabbing

My name is Deb Bennett. I’m asking to

please help the victims of the Apple River stabbing. On Saturday July 30th family and friends headed to the Apple River to enjoy A-day of tubing to celebrate their father's birthday. What started as a fun day turned tragic after a 52 year man from Minnesota stabbed and critically injured 4 people. they were all rushed to the Region's hospital in Saint Paul where as of August 3rd two of them remain hospitalized. All 4 have a very long road of recovery ahead of them. This hits very close for me as the father's mother has been a close friend of mine for over 20 years. My son and her younger son grew up playing hockey and soccer together in Blaine, we attended church together, enjoyed time Camping on the North Shore. She has been my hairdresser since becoming friends.

We know that no amount of money will help the situation feel better but love and support from the community can help them the most. As with any medical emergency of this magnitude there will be a lot of bills. Hospital bills, transportation bills, lodging, along with missing work to care for loved ones. Any amount can help!! This was a loving family who tried to answer a call for help when they were attacked. On top of the physical injuries they also have to live with the trauma this event caused caused. So please consider helping as any little thing helps, even just sharing it and praying! Thank you!
