Who we are: 

My name is Marianna Mitrovic and I'm working very closely with member and friend of the Gainsborough community Katharine L Harrison and close family friend to Arija, Dennis Kiriopoulos. We have come together from different backgrounds to support our friends in this time of tragedy. Our intentions with the fund are of purest heart. We all know someone who was affected by this tragedy. My connection to the family is though my good friend Jade, who lived in the home.  Through him I met Arija and her beautiful family. We have made memories and shared laughs in her home that I will cherish with me forever. We are all bonded with our love for art, music and dance. The music community has been devastated to hear the loss of their dear friends. Four souls were tragically lost, 3 families are mourning their loved ones.  We are here to offer financial help to the families of the loved ones lost in any way we can. The survivors will need all the emotional and financial support we can offer so please donate to help them and to help the neighbouring homes that have been destroyed. 

**We are in contact with lawyers to help with the dispersement of funds. 


January 29th 2021-  At about 4 am there was a fire at 95 Gainsborough rd in the city’s east end. This is one of the worst house fires in recent decades. 5 adults and one child were in the house at the time of the accident. Only 2 survived and are in critical condition. 

This news has been devastating. I wanted to start this gofundme for all the victim’s families and survivors. So please help inany way you can, it will be greatly appreciated and keep them in your prayers.
