Helping Abbotsford Flood victims
Donation protected
Abbotsford, BC is under a state of emergency following extreme flooding and mudslides which came as a result of heavy rainfall. Thousands of citizens are left devastated as they have been forced to evacuate their flooding homes or unable to go back home to other cities in BC.
This fund is dedicated to helping the victims from Sumas Prairie recover from the flood. Those who have been affected have had to leave everything behind, and will likely have to start all over following this flood. While ensuring the safety of people is critical right now, the aftermath of this disaster will leave many in financial distress.
The damage caused by this flood has been absolutely devastating for our entire community, which is why it is crucial that we tackle it together.
We are a group of high school students trying to fundraise to support all the innocent victims of the floods. We are in a partnership with Red Cross, to whom all the proceeds will be given. They will triple your donations and distribute them to the victims accordingly. Please consider donating whatever you are able to, every dollar counts.
