Help the victims of the Newcastleton floods.

Saturday February 15th 2020 

The tiny village of Newcastleton in the Scottish Borders was devastated by storm Dennis. The village witnessed the worst flooding in its entire history leaving a mass of destruction behind it. 80 homes where flooded leaving many people in the unknown. 

I have started this page being a local of the village in the hope that many will donate so we can help those affected get back on their feet as soon as possible. Whether your donation be big or small I'm sure those affected would.be truly grateful.

When we have a total we will use the donated monies to the affected people in getting them things they desperately need.

I live in Newcastleton I am not related to anyone directly involved.  A small  management team has now been formed (3rd March) .  We will withdraw the money into a new specifically designated Bank of Scotland business  account and the  team will mange it .  Once  we withdraw the total amount, people who are affected can apply for assistance  for what they need and the management team will  distribute accordingly  . We will make sure all the funds will be put towards the people that need it.
