Help the victims of the Wildfire in Chile

Since February 2, a monstrous wildfire has claimed the lives of more than 130 people and wreaked havoc in many cities in the Valparaíso Region, Chile. 15,000 homes have been destroyed or damaged by the fire, and the National Botanical Garden suffered an almost total loss of its flora and fauna.

My name is Nico Valdivia, Creative Director at Niebla Games and a PhD student at UCR. At Niebla, a studio based in the affected region, we feel the pain very closely: relatives, friends, and former students have lost their homes and loved ones. That's why all donations to this campaign and the ones received on the game website will go to benefit the victims. Donations of 10 USD or more will be added to the acknowledgments of the Itch.io game page.

Desde el 2 de febrero, un monstruoso incendio forestal ha cobrado la vida de más de 130 personas y ha causado estragos en muchas ciudades de la Región de Valparaíso, Chile. 15,000 hogares han sido destruidos o dañados por el fuego, y el Jardín Botánico Nacional sufrió una pérdida casi total de su flora y fauna.

Mi nombre es Nico Valdivia, Director Creativo en Niebla Games y estudiante de doctorado en la UCR. En Niebla, un estudio con sede en la región afectada, sentimos el dolor muy de cerca: familiares, amigos y exestudiantes han perdido sus hogares y seres queridos. Es por eso que todas las donaciones a esta campaña y las recibidas en el sitio web del juego irán en beneficio de las víctimas. Las donaciones de 10 USD o más serán añadidas a los agradecimientos en la página del juego en Itch.io.
