Help the Vo Family After the Palisades Fire

Hello everyone,

My name is David Vo, and I created this GoFundMe for my parents after the unexpected loss of their house caused by the Palisades Fire. Many homes were destroyed in the neighborhood I grew up in, and many lives are now changed, including my family's.

My parents bought this house nearly 30 years ago because they wanted to raise their children in the Pacific Palisades community. This is the home I grew up in and the only home I know. I remember going to Ronny's after school for fries, borrowing books and movies at the Pacific Palisades Public Library, and hiking in Temescal Canyon.

As I saw the images of the fiery destruction unfold on TV, I held my breath, hoping that perhaps our home would be spared. Fortunately, my parents are safe, but their home and belongings are gone. Learning about the destruction of our home has been tremendously difficult. We created many memories here, such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Lunar New Year celebrations together as a family.
