Help the Vongphachanhs!

Donation protected

Jerimiah Vongphachanh was involved in an accident on the evening of Thursday, July 15th, 2021. This accident was an unfortunate event and we’re thankful that he’s making progress.

Miah had fallen and hit his head on pavement. He fractured his skull and suffers from subarachnoid hemorrhaging, where there is bleeding between the brain and the layer that covers the brain. The bleeding produces pressure and it stops blood from going to some areas of the brain. Although this is is a serious condition, his neurology team decided to forgo surgery and allow his body to heal itself.

Miah has been directed to be on bed rest for the next 30 days, or as needed. He’s been prescribed pain and anti seizure meds. He will need continuous rest to allow healing.

As most of you know, Miah and his fiancé, Anna, is expecting their first son on August 22nd, 2021. Anna had made the decision to take her maternity leave early to care for Miah during this time.

With Miah being out of work, upcoming medical bills, and a newborn on the way, we are looking for any support to help their growing family.
