Update #2 (6/6/23) - ONCE AGAIN, thanks to everyone in the Pottsgrove community and beyond, we have achieved & completely surpassed our second fundraising goal!! I can't begin to thank all of you enough for your support of the Wards, but we'll make sure that they get these donations and provide some feedback ASAP. We may, once again, update the fundraising goal, and continuing our support of the family as long as we can, and for everyone who HAS contributed, YOU ROCK, and we love you all so much for your support!
Update #1 (6/1/23) - THANKS SO MUCH to all of you and your gracious support, we've achieved our initial goal in TWELVE HOURS!! I can't thank you all enough, and you're making an old guy all teary-eyed over here! But let's not stop here at $5k, let's keep going!! We'll update the goal if needed, but let's push to give Brian, Heather, and their family EVEN MORE SUPPORT.
Hi, my name is Patrick Banus, and I've started this fundraiser to help one of my all-time best friends, Brian Ward, and his family, recover after losing everything in a house fire. He would give me the shirt off his back, so now it's my turn to help give him & his family literally anything they need to rebuild and recover after their home was tragically lost to a fire on May 31st. So I'm asking all of you, whether you personally know Brian or not (but especially if you do!), to contribute whatever you can to help them get back on their feet. Brian is a devoted father, husband, soccer coach & mentor in the Pottsgrove community. Brian and his wife Heather have 5 children, as well as cats and dogs. I've known Brian all my life (I was the Best Man at his wedding, for crying out loud!), and I know a lot of you know him as well, so I want to see he & his family get back on their feet ASAP, and the best way to do that right now is to provide them with money that they can use for food, clothing, anything that kids are into these days (how would I know what kids are into?), and any other incidentals that might come up on the way to getting back into their home. This is a very small goal, all things considered, and I know that we can eclipse this goal really fast, so let's all join together and help a friend & neighbor in need!
