Help the Warren’s Unexpected Arrival & Surgery!!

Erick and Jessica would first like to say Thank You to everyone for the thoughts, prayers and well wishes they have received. They are surrounded by a lot of love from all of you and it makes a difference.

They have been faced with multiple complications that nobody should have to face individually, and they are facing them all at once. Jessica was diagnosed with an aortic aneurysm at 25 weeks pregnant when she was in the emergency room with abdominal pain. She was quickly life flighted to OHSU. Erick and Jessica were thankful to find out that Jessica’s heart could tolerate pushing

out her surgery to allow Jaxson to get a little bit bigger. Over the next week Jessica’s abdominal pain was getting worse. The team rushed her to the operating room and found Jessica’s bowel has perforated, or burst open, and they were all completely shocked. They don’t have any idea why this happened. They had to remove a large portion of her bowel, followed by 2 more surgeries to repair her bowel. She will be closely watched over the next couple weeks to be sure she is strong and ready for her open heart surgery. She has impressed her doctors by her quick healing, recovery and her strength through it all.

Baby Jaxson was delivered at 26 weeks and is being cared for by an incredible neonatal intensive care unit. He is doing a great job of breathing and growing. The doctors expect that Jaxson will be in the hospital through the end of January/beginning of February.

Jessica and Jaxson will both be hospitalized for an extended period of time and that means Erick will also be spending all of his time at the hospital and unable to return to work. They appreciate the continued thoughts and prayers first and foremost, but this journey will be long and they will also need financial support.

All the money Erick and Jessica have will be going towards their bills and living expenses. We are hoping and donations received will allow them to prepare to bring Jaxson home. They would be extremely grateful for any gift.
