Help the Washington Little Caps Get to Quebec!

We are excited to announce that the Washington Little Capitals (WLC) have been accepted into the 2022 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and we are proud to be able to showcase the hard work and long years of dedication of our players.

 

Over the next few months, we will be working hard to fundraise money for our trip to pay for fees, travel, uniforms, and food expenses. This year is extra hard financially because we will most likely not be able to have our players billet with a family in Quebec due to COVID, which will increase our lodging and hotel fees exponentially.

With your assistance, we’ll be able to give these young hockey players memories that will last a lifetime and a chance to play with other kids from around the world.

 

A Little Bit about the Tournament

 

The tournament will take place from February 9-20, 2022, and coincides with the Winter Carnival in Quebec.

 

After more than 60 years of existence, the Quebec Tournament is a place of unforgettable encounters and memories where thousands of players aged 11 and 12 come defend the colors of their teams from all over the world. The great names of hockey such as Brad Park, Guy Lafleur, Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Patrick Roy, Steven Stamkos and much more have all participated in this event at one point in their career.
