Help the Waterloo

Like many bands and gig goers we play and watch bands at the Waterloo Music Bar Blackpool. Every band and person who walks through the door is made to feel welcome by Ian and his team.

Takeaway Thieves have been especially treated with much love by the Waterloo Team, we not only play gigs there, we watch and support other bands and even rehearse there

Coronavirus  threatens the closure of not just The Waterloo  but hundreds of independent live music venues all over the country. Best estimates  are that venues could be shut for up to 12 weeks and that is not something many would survive. With weekly outgoings of rent, rates, finance repayments, tax implications and staff wages to find.

With the Waterloo close to not only our hearts but we know many peoples, we set up this funding page and did a live facebook gig to hopefully get people to help Ian and the Waterloo team through this tough time  like they have helped so many in the local community in the past.

Times are hard for everyone we realise this, but if you can give please do ....there is no real target to reach ....Lets collectively see what we can do ..........we wouldn't mind a sale either at takeawaythieves.com/swag
