Help The Wilding Family With Medical Bills

On Monday, May 15th our sister’s family was excitedly anticipating the arrival of their fourth child. Things quickly changed when Shauni’s uterus suffered a severe rupture. When this happens oxygen no longer travels to the baby through the umbilical cord. An emergency c-section was successful, but the baby girl went without oxygen for 12-15 minutes and suffered a traumatic brain injury. She was life flighted to a hospital that could address the many complications while our sister remained behind to heal from her difficult delivery. This precious baby girl began several days of cooling her brain and body temperature in hopes of minimizing damage, thus allowing her brain an opportunity to improve. She has responded to the cold and, thankfully, been seizure free. However, breathing has been difficult. As she remains in the NICU and further tests are done we will know more of what her future will be like. Meanwhile the cost of both baby and mother’s care will be substantial. In addition, Shauni’s husband has been unable to work as he has remained with their daughter and will continue to do so while she is hospitalized. We hope to alleviate some of their family’s stress at this difficult time by providing some financial aid. For those willing to contribute we sincerely thank you for your help.
