Help the XDOT Bison Basketball Teams

We are beginning the inaugural season for our boys and girls high school and middle school basketball teams. These young athletes embody the spirit of XDOT Academy, where dreams take flight, and values like teamwork, discipline, and hard work are instilled on and off the court.

XDOT Academy is dedicated to empowering homeschooling families and independent learners in the Big Country. Our mission is to provide affordable, high-quality academic and athletic opportunities to young individuals, fostering a thriving community of lifelong learners, thinkers, and doers. Guided by the enduring virtues, taught by Jesus, of love, compassion, and service.

We believe that homeschooling families shouldn’t have to sacrifice the opportunity to participate in interscholastic sports due to their desire to offer their children a more personalized approach to their schooling.

The quest for excellence in Athletics can be an extremely fulfilling, educational, and unforgettable experience. Being able to be a part of a program designed to help each and every athlete achieve their greatest heights, while simultaneously treating them with the respect and dignity they deserve as an individual, can provide some of the absolute greatest experiences in young people’s lives. An uplifting and confidence building experience like this, shared with friends and peers, can become a core piece of our character and identity to rely on throughout life.

Homeschooling families in the Big Country are making the brave choice to forego the public school programs offered in their communities in favor to offering their children a more personalized and customized approach to their educational experience. This choice also makes most of these students ineligible to play sports with these public school programs. XDOT Academy aims to offer homeschooling families in the Big Country with the opportunity to participate in a high quality athletics program that allows these students to compete at a high level against local public and privates schools, as well as compete at state and national tournaments against other homeschooling programs at the end of the season.

As a homeschooling program, a challenge that we face is that we are not publicly funded. This consequentially creates financial barriers that prevent some families from participating in these high-quality secondary sports programs. We believe that no child should be denied the opportunity to pursue their passion for basketball due to financial constraints.
