Help Thea Rowland get to Fargo!!

Hello! My name is Thea Rowland and I am a sophomore and member of the Girls Varsity Wrestling team at Middletown High School South. I have been wrestling since 6th grade where I was the only girl on the Thompson Middle School team. Since then, not only my passion for the sport has grown, but women’s wrestling has taken off and now one of the fastest growing sports at the high school and college level. My sophomore has been the best yet, my achievements this year include: - 1st place Shore Conference Tournament (+all shore first team appointed) - 1st place Central Region (1st in school history) - 1st place Mustang Zoo tournament - 4th place NJSIAA state tournament - Garden state national champ - Freestyle state finalist - 3rd place Elizabeth Lady Minutemen tournament By placing 2nd at the Freestyle State Tournament, I qualified to compete at the 2023 Marine Corps Junior and U16 Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota. This is the hardest wrestling tournament attended by some of the toughest wrestlers in the country, and this is my first time qualifying. It has been my dream to compete at this tournament and push myself to see how far I can go and what I can achieve. I would be representing the state of New Jersey and I am proud, honored, and grateful to have this amazing opportunity. Your support means so much to me and I am so thankful for any donation or words of encouragement to help me on my journey. I hope to make my school, my state, and my supporters very proud.
